Muscle Car Research is proud to offer a replacement seal kit (each kit contains two seals) for the C9ZZ-6501934-A (right side, marked C9ZA-6501960-D) and C9ZZ-6501935-A (left side, marked C9ZA-6501961-D) cowl vent air outlet ducts used on the following vehicles:
- 1969 and 1970 Ford Mustang
- 1969 and 1970 Mercury Cougar
Please note that the original seals (which appear to have never been sold as service parts by Ford Motor Company) were held in place with contact cement. You may wish to do the same to make installation a little easier. Each seal will fit on either side of the vehicle. There is some variability in screw hole locations, so you may need to enlarge one or more holes. You might also find it helpful to flatten your plastic vent surfaces using a heat gun, but be careful to not damage the plastic! This part is proudly made right here in the USA by die-cutting 3/8" thick black polyurethane foam rubber that's been matched to the original material used by Ford. Dealer inquiries are welcome - please contact us for pricing.
