A Muscle Car Research Exclusive!

Muscle Car Research is proud to offer a rebuild kit for the cast iron pressure differential valve and switch used on several different 1967 - 1975 GM vehicles. Our kit contains all of the o-ring seals, springs, and a new brass tube seat needed to rebuild your leaky valve and return it to "like new" operating condition.

Note that GM used two different types of electrical terminals on these valves. One of the terminals uses a black plastic body and the other uses a steel body. The terminals used different o-rings to provide a seal to the valve body, so please be sure to select the correct terminal type when adding a kit to your cart.

Black Plastic TerminalSteel Terminal

The o-rings are molded from a 70 durometer ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber compound that is fully compatible with automobile brake fluid. The springs are made from type 302 stainless steel and feature squared and ground ends. All parts are made right here in the USA!

Be sure to check out our brake valve brass seat puller tool that you can use when rebuilding your valve.

Complete rebuild instructions can be found on the Muscle Car Research web site. Dealer inquiries are welcome - please contact us for pricing.
