Muscle Car Research is proud to offer a brand new, economy reproduction of the C9ZZ-6540427-A rear license plate lamp shield used on the following vehicles:
- 1969 and 1970 Ford Mustang
- 1969 and 1970 Shelby Mustang
This part is made from a recycled rubber material that is similar to, but not identical to, the masticated material Ford used to produce the original C9ZZ-6540427-A shield. The texture is rougher than plain rubber sheet material. There are no visible cotton fibers. Here's a close up shot of the material texture:

Note the orientation of the cut-outs when mounting the shield! When properly installed the shield will roll under the top edge of the rear bumper. This part is proudly made right here in the USA.
